This ship is just a way of visiting the port. Now, buy or capture a ship for your own ports. with decent rep you have just made ~1200 from the flute alone. Remember to check again if you are attacked Sail to a port where the goods are expensive Switch (not sail) to the port with the flute Travel to another port with cheap goods.(Rum!)
They die easily.Īt the large port, get rid of most of the crew.(transfer to your fighting ship if possible. For the first few trades, you will not be able to escourt it with a few friggates. With a decent ship, trade/smuggle etc until you can afford a spare flute.Įnsure you expand the hold for trade, and fit stern cannons (and have chain shot) to be able to run away if needed.
